Israel Iran Houthi War

International News: Israel already has weapons like bombs and missiles, but now it has adopted a technology that will make its attacks even more deadly. According to media reports, if Israel goes to war with Iran again in the future or targets the Houthi rebels of Yemen, this time Israel will be able to decide in a few seconds which target to target. This technology is satellites. Actually, Israel has taken its satellite technology to a new level.

Now this technology is not limited to just surveillance but is also giving the ability to continuously gather information about the enemy's locations in real time and change the strategy of attack based on that. Recent reports suggest that Israel is keeping a close eye on Iran and Yemen's Houthis and has also made preparations to take immediate action if needed.

Satellites are experts in gathering intelligence

The Ofek-series satellites are considered to be the most important for Israel's national security. They are experts in high-level surveillance and espionage. Apart from these, the old Eros satellites have also been providing excellent intelligence pictures till now.

Recently a new name has been added to this, the Dror-1 communication satellite, which has made Israel self-sufficient in the field of communication. All of these have been manufactured by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

Israel launches Dror-1 satellite

The Dror-1 satellite, launched on July 13, is now working on its mission at an altitude of 36,000 km. This will eliminate the need for Israel to seek help from any foreign country in complex communication-related matters. With the help of satellites, it is easy for Israel to understand how much damage was caused after attacking a large target and which parts need to be attacked again.

Keeping a constant eye on Iran

According to the Israeli Defense Ministry, Israeli satellites photographed millions of square kilometers of Iran before and during the June war. Iran's area is about 1.6 million square kilometers, of which the western areas and Tehran in particular were monitored dozens of times.

Israel now has the ability to photograph hundreds of targets every day and monitor millions of square kilometers of territory. This gives it continuous and real-time information, not just occasional glimpses as before.

Yemen's Houthi rebels are also on the radar

Since mid-2024, the Israeli army has carried out about 20 retaliatory attacks on the Houthis in Yemen. Even though the focus in official presentations has been on Iran, satellites are being said to play a big role in these operations, as regular use of drones and aircraft is difficult in remote countries like Yemen. In such a situation, satellites have become the most important weapon for surveillance.
